I am examining mayors from African countries at the Wits School of Governance.

The law of South Africa ️and some other countries requires that people employed in some senior positions in self-governments should first complete appropriate studies, e.g. in the field of study “Local economic development manager”. Is this how it should be in Poland? During my stay at the prestigious Wits School of Governance being part of Wits – University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, I participated in the commission assessing the diploma thesis of mayors-students from South Africa, Namibia, Bostwana, Kenya and Angola. The Wits School of Governance is a leading public administration school on this continent, whose students are prime ministers, ministers, city presidents, mayors and other high-profile public managers from all over Africa.
