Invest in people – another travel in search of local development and inspirations for local & regional governments

Tanzania – a developing country, beautiful, but significantly *not rich*. A small, provincial town. Difficult conditions. Zero equipment. Lesson outside, because there are not enough classes at school. I’m watching this teacher, and the longer I do it, the more respect I have for him. His commitment, focus, patience, the ability to attract attention, transfer knowledge, and the joy of what he does, this passion – picture tells a story. Such people, themselves and through others, change the world for the better. They want to want to! When during training on strategy, local government officials ask me what drives development the most, what to invest in, I answer: people, invest in people, at least as much as in the rest. And do it wisely, and with passion, give passion, and your commune will develop quickly.
