Meeting with Professor Tony Travers at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) was a unique, valuable experience. We talked about what development strategies PL & UK local authorities should adopt today towards EU and global social, economic and environmental processes – especially those related to energy, climate, pandemic and mobile capital. Such conversations develop and open up new perspectives – I am happy and grateful. Prof. Tony Travers is an outstanding municipal and local development specialist and Deputy Dean of the LSE School of Public Policy, Director of the LSE London Research Center and advisor to the House of Commons of the UK Parliament. In addition to numerous books and scientific articles, he writes for The Guardian, The Independent, The Financial Times and The Times.
