Russia’s invasion of Ukraine opens a new chapter in world history. It also creates new challenges for Polish local governments: preparation for crises, ensuring public safety and order, help for refugees, education for Ukrainian children and work for adults, further increase in energy costs, inflation, digital threats, changes in aid funds and others. You have to manage strategically to find yourself in the new reality and ensure further socio-economic development. On Saturday, I taught this to the authorities and management of several local governments at the MBA in Community Management, especially in relation to the new regulations on the commune development strategies and supra-local development strategies. I am glad that I can raise their qualifications.
